The most functional part of this version is the timer, which is perhaps the only useful thing about this expensive device. The handle has the ergonomics of a garden fence post, becomes slippery and difficult to hold. An accurate instrument is not a remote control. The app is totally useless for this purpose, I tried it for a month with conflicting results, I didn't think it was worth the effort. The app also doesn't connect reliably, it runs but doesn't read the electronics so it doesn't record your session. I had an earlier version of the Oral B which I found much more comfortable to use, but my dentist recommended that I ditch that version in favor of a rechargeable version that "works better". don't find it The thing requires a lot of work across the board, it's awkward to use, the app is useless not to mention awkward to use, the rest of the features are of dubious value.
