The plastic tip is just what you need
Many prefer this micron with a felt tip. This tip is strong but has a smoother texture. My complaint about micrometers with the felt tip is that the tip took on a rectangular shape. This made it difficult to get a smooth line. They are easy to write on but have the same excellent ink quality as traditional micron markers.
