I planned to use this to measure the input voltage and current of a 24V DC motor. The input signal comes from a 24 VDC power supply with speed control. I measured voltage and current with separate meters before connecting these meters. I've never seen an initial surge of more than 3 amps when idling less than 1 amp with no load. and never feed more than 12 VDC into the motor. When I hooked up these gauges, the voltage reading was very accurate. The current was very high, then smoke came out of the meter and he died. In my opinion they are of poor quality. .I would never buy them again.
