Great idea. But I found it didn't fit in the cup holders nor in the cup holder holes in our boat. We tried it on about three different brands of boats, all with the same results. The existing cup holders are too tight not to apply undue force and break something. If you pull out the existing coasters they will fit but are sloppy and likely to cause spillage. FYI, yours might be different and worth trying, but be prepared to come back if it doesn't work.
