This is your standard office phone. It stores 10 phone numbers, call history etc etc. It looks pretty massive and solid. The phone can feel uncomfortable after prolonged use, but that's probably typical of most phones. I bought this phone because it has an RJ-11 jack (standard phone plug) for a headset, which means you don't have to pick up the phone. Turn off the phone to make calls. Many other phones connect headphones to the headphone jack. I needed something more and this certainly delivers. HOWEVER โ You press the speakerphone button to activate the line and make calls through the headset. When a headset is plugged in, speakerphone seems almost disabled. This means that you cannot use the speakerphone while your headset is plugged in, even if you are not using your headset. I haven't reviewed the speakerphone separately, but if that's the volume for a regular speakerphone, then this essentially isn't a speakerphone. Also, the mute button on the phone doesn't work for the headset. I believe this is similar to the issue above where the mic on the phone is muted almost to the point of mute but not actually turned off. I learned one the hard way. Luckily my headset has a mute button and I use that instead. Finally, I could have paid more for a better phone, but it certainly suits my needs.
