This thing works well and I've used it to convert old home videos recorded on cassette tape to digital and save to my google drive. The product does everything it says on the tin and I have recommended it to cousins who also wanted to digitize their videos. However, I wish the cable was a little longer as it can get bulky and unwieldy when trying to keep the USB connection to your camcorder connected to yellow, white and red cables. I didn't realize it either, but to capture video from the camcorder on my model you have to go back to the beginning by holding the button, which was time consuming. But I mean, overall, it's worth keeping the memories forever for generations.
