Wi-Fi extender function works fine. I have almost complete house coverage with only 1 unit per 3000m². Feet of a 2 story house. But the center of intelligent things is a different story. It failed to connect to my Schlage Connect Lock or GE Z Wave External Plug. I went to Best Buy and bought a Smart Thing Hub and the above devices connected without any problems. So this Wi-Fi hub plus smart thing is now just a Wi-Fi extender. Also, the Wi-Fi hub does not have a Z-Wave opt-out feature. It took a lot of frustration to find out.
