Review on Holstein 2CAM0299 Camshaft Position Sensor by Jeremy May

Bought for a Hyundai Azera 06, fit and everything looked perfect, went in easily and everything seemed fine until I tried to start the car, it took 10 or 15 attempts to start , before it finally burned out The intake manifold had to be removed to install it, so I assumed an intake leak and spent a lot of time and money diagnosing a non-starting condition before finally taking it to a local shop who recommended replacing it with a new one. OEM sensor, and lo and behold, that was the problem, a new OEM sensor lights up every time. Annoyingly when the car finally started it worked perfectly, it only took 10-15 attempts to start it each time and as there was no corresponding check engine light I figured this sensor was ok. Big mistake. DO NOT BELIEVE them unless they were in your car! From now on only OEM for me.
