Review on RANCO ETC-111000 Digital Cold Temperature Control: Versatile New Solution by Matt Woodward

This thermostat is durable (my first one lasted over 10 years), sensitive and accurate. Analog thermostats that I have used in my greenhouses often get sticky and switch on and/or off slowly, resulting in large temperature swings. This device can be programmed to the exact temperature range you want and works great. Easy to program. The long sensor cable means you don't have to measure the temperature on the open wall where the control box is installed! Incidentally, this does not only apply to low temperatures; I use it to turn on greenhouse cooling systems. I had trouble understanding the schematic so I had to hire an electrician to install them.
