OK I know this is nothing for a lawn mower and way too expensive for my use. I screwed this into the hole in the back of my mower where the packing attachment would sit. I'm disabled and the garbage can is one of those huge ones that a mechanical arm lifts, sometimes it can be heavy. I attach the lid of the trash can with a rubber cord, let the trash can on the tow hook, and use the mower to pull the trash can out onto the street about 100 feet from my house. It's also useful for transporting garden brushes and tree clippings to my pile for burning and for towing around my 4 x 6 foot trailer that I use in the garden when I do yard work. Great for what I need it for. On my old mower I used a 2 inch ATV receiver that I installed a ball head extension, but on this mower it was too heavy and caused the mower flange to bend. This tow hook is a lot lighter than my old rig and even has a hitch to tow it around my yard.
