A scent genie's job is to deodorize a room and leave a very soft, pleasant scent in its place. He does not position himself as a substitute for car smell. I think he did a great job with the purpose of deodorization. My car never smells like takeout from lunch or other typical car smells. If you want to extend the life of the product, you can fold back the sticker tab 1 inch and cut it. Cut away more and more of the sticker's protective layer at the top to slowly reveal the inside so it lasts longer. The effects are the same and you can use it for a long time!
