Although the dashboard came in plastic bubble wrap, the dashboard frame arrived in one piece and appears to be very strong plastic. The frame fits the dash hole, which is good, but the frame hole is too small to fit around a standard sized two-din device. Whether you try to push it in from the front or the back. Of course you can modify it to make it work by straightening the rounded corners and cropping the sides a bit, but you don't have to. Dashboard kits are designed for simple plug and play devices. It would be one thing if the cheap packaging had a disclaimer, but there isn't. And the manufacturer says it's "compatible" with the standard (US) double-size sizes on the websites it's sold on. It's just awful that after two failed dash kits I have to wait for an alternative again. I give it at least 2 stars for the fact that it fits in the dash cutout and is a pretty solid material.
