I swim every day for a workout in our unheated pool (bathing suit only). When the water temperature dropped to fifty degrees after swimming, I suddenly got a headache. An online search revealed that "ice cream headaches" are common when swimming in cold water. Tried a regular swim cap, silicone, "one size fits all" but it was too tight - so uncomfortable I didn't even use it. Another online search revealed that neoprene hats/hoods are recommended to keep your head warm. The headache stopped the day I started using the Tilos cap.
