Exactly what I need and more at the best price I have seen. I was tempted to just buy a worn out plastic cog, but when I received it and fitted it I saw that I also had noticeable wear on the sprocket making this a two step upgrade. An added benefit is that I didn't have to bother with removing and installing spring pins that would normally fall to the ground and disappear into an unknown 4th dimension during the process. You may have seen reviews and/or videos where some grumbled that the mounting flange came with no threads in the screw holes. That's right. However, you will see that the flange is stamped mild steel and your bolts are black hardened steel with a slight taper. This eliminates the need for threading during production. The screws are self-tapping when installed. To make it less cumbersome, I threaded the screws through these holes on the workbench so that during installation I could catch the threads by hand with little or no force and move on to a 5/16 inch wrench. Attention: When lining the through holes of the flange screws on the housing, it is easy to overlook the position of the large square holes, these are used to protect the sprocket and must be aligned with the chain guide, otherwise the sprocket guard cannot be reassembled. (Yes, the voice of experience.) I used a 1/4" ratchet wrench with an extension and swivel on a 5/16 socket so I didn't have to remove the wiring or logic board. However, with a little effort and patience, you could do this with a simple box wrench without having to remove the circuit board or wires. My garage door opener failed in April when it was 19 years old. Now it works great. and I see no reason why he should not live to see his 38th birthday.
