it does what it's supposed to: protect my forehead from the sun. Since I have curly hair, hats don't hold up and my hair just can't form bangs. But I do spend a few hours outside around noon every day, so despite the sunscreen I was hooked. No more burns with this visor. The only thing I complain about is that it looks like the visors the fast food workers wear, so I look like I work at Wendy's. If you intend to wear it often, it's probably worth spending a little more money on something flattering.
