⚖️ I recently tested another 15.6 inch portable monitor so I have a reference point when writing this review. === Positives ===😍 This monitor is great and very responsive. The display and colors match my gaming, the monitor is more or less accurate. Like other monitors, it has a range of customization options such as HDR, color temperature, input selection and volume. Somewhat unique to this monitor is the ability to change aspect ratio and offset; however, this feature is probably not useful in any context (even in retro games or when using *nix operating systems), so I don't over-advertise it. Port C must support video/audio output for USB-C connection to work. Clear expectations did not disappoint me, as it worked with the Thunderbolt 4 port on my laptop, but not with the USB3.2-C port of my desktop, which unfortunately did not offer this output function (to allow monitoring ult ra).😱 I was pleased to find that this monitor has built-in VESA mounting holes so you can mount it to a monitor stand or arm without using an "adapter". Also, all the connectors are on the same side and not on two different sides like some other models, so cable management is definitely better. === Cons === Compared to another portable monitor I own, this monitor is a bit thicker and heavier, but that's only because the case needs to be thick enough to have built-in VESA mounting holes, which I do VERY appreciate – there are no lost points with me. Also, the built-in speakers are comparatively mediocre by a notable margin (not that it matters much), and this monitor lacks the built-in blue light filter that my other portable monitor offers (which you may or may not care; modern operating systems and software graphics adapter deployment offers this already as a setting at the operating system level). === Conclusion === 🛒 Can I recommend this product? This is a phenomenal product and you can't go wrong with it, especially if the VESA mount is important to you. That said, there are alternatives that I know from experience are good in terms of price, quality, and features (consider things like thickness, weight, sound, and hardware-level blue light filtering capabilities, etc.). Feel free to compare products but if you buy this one you probably won't regret it. 👍 I would highly recommend it to my friends, family and VESA mount colleagues. =============== Rating updated 10/15/2022: Upgraded from 4 stars to 5 stars when I realized it has built-in VESA holes for use with VESA mounts. I am very happy that I can install it on my air mount without an adapter. I also pointed out that this model has better cable management than some competing models. Review updated 9/14/2022: Upgraded from 3 to 4 stars after updating the product description to immediately clarify that your device's USB-C port requires video/audio output. working on a solution to my "misleading product description" issue (which I deducted a star for in my original review)
