A while ago I switched to reusable straws. I didn't want to contribute to the landfill anymore with these plastic bottles. Well, I fell in love with her quickly. Not only are they eco-friendly, but they are also very durable - way more than I imagined. I could try to bend them with my hands and they wouldn't break! I only had one small problem - they were difficult to clean. Being a problem solver that I am, I was looking for a tool to use and lo and behold I stumbled across these glass pipe cleaners! As you can see from the photo, this is a set of 3. There is a 12, 10 and 8 inch. Personally, I use the 8" the most, as I find it to be the most comfortable size. I have nothing to complain about the quality. Although the handle is stainless steel, it flexes easily, making it easy to clean. I didn't have one either Rust issues. The bristles are also well made - they are made from a soft nylon material. They are in the shape of a spiral and clean great! At first I wasn't sure if they would fit due to the bristle width but that wasn't a problem. In fact you can insert on both sides!I usually wet the straw with soapy water first.After that,I wet the brush and put it in the straw while twisting it back and forth.When I used it for the first time,I was so surprised by the amount of Dirt that came out!Apart from straws I've also used them to clean small glass tubes (I have a bundle that I use for my aquarium).Works as expected They are great - the fact that there are multiple sizes to choose from is just great. Here's a tip from me: push back the bristles (just with your fingers) after using them. In the future you will thank you! However, I assume that the brushes will wear out over time. They're definitely sturdy (much stronger than those you can buy for dollars at the store), but they probably won't last forever. Like I said, I haven't had any problems with it. Ultimately, however, they are best used with small objects. If you want the "larger version", I recommend purchasing a bottle cleaning brush. . You will save a lot of time washing water bottles, glasses and baby bottles. Overall I am very happy with these pipe cleaners. They are cheap and do the job perfectly! The best part? They are so versatile - you can use them to clean anything, not just straws! Whatever it is, all you have to do is move the bristles back and forth with some soap and water. That's all you have to do to delete it again.
