Review on π½ Improved ABS Black Cast Iron Closet Flange Replacement - Oatey 43538, 4-inch by Johnathan Delgado
Ideal for my old cast iron setup.
I have used them twice in my 1960's house. The previous build used multiple rings over an old cast iron ring. This led to a leak under the tiles. With 43538 he lifted the edge right above the tile. I used a gasket but it was placed under 43538 so there is no risk of leakage. Works great, sealed, no leaks.
