Please note this is a cotton blend, not 100% cotton as you would expect on the Utopia list. "Mixture" is written on the packaging. I suspect the other fiber is probably poly and that should have been listed, as well as other companies that sell poly/cotton pillowcases and sheets. The pillowcase itself does not say which fiber it is. Also, they need to be washed immediately in hot water with lots of detergent as they have a funny smell right out of the box. However, after washing, it disappears. Anyhow, they're certainly serviceable and don't have that worrying slick microfiber feel, but having done my best to read the description carefully I'd like to know what I'm actually getting. . Please, Utopia, if you sell cotton blends, be so kind as to say so. Why is it so hard to find fresh 100% cotton pillowcases and sheets that don't cost as much as yours? Mortgage? Edit: I see that Utopia changed the description to reflect the fact that it's a cotton blend.
