Let me start by saying that solar panels are good (when new) although they don't put out the 120 watt rating. The price and portability are really good. I'm getting a short circuit current of about 5.1A and about 2.6A at 18.3V when connected to my Prymax battery (power plant), Prymax is showing about 58W charging, not sure where the discrepancy came from (used a Fluke 1587, Fluke 89 for voltage measurements and a Fluke 375FC clamp on a DC ammeter). All tests were conducted under clear skies around 1pm with the panels facing directly into the sun and Accuweather reading around 1000-1100 W/m2. The device is lightweight, portable and easy to set up, but it doesn't have eyelets to attach it to, which is a big minus for me. Power dropped to 3.8 watts when a small cloud covered the sun. So why 3 stars? quality control. The solar charger was DOA and would not turn on when the device was at 20V. The external power station charging cable (with MC4 connectors on one side and barrel connectors on the other) had a broken negative wire (open circuit). Homemade from a piece of wire and a 2.5mm jack to connect to my Prymax. Return this device for a replacement. I may update my score in the future based on how the new block performs. If everything works I may upgrade it to 4 stars because I love these solar panels and I think it's a good price.
