Benefits - Solar panels are lightweight for a 120w solar panel and 4 panels fold for easy storage. I've briefly tested the panel and controller and they seem to be working fine. Let me start by saying that solar panels are good (when new) although they don't put out the 120 watt rating. The price and portability are really good. So far we have used it in our VW Westfalia during a week-long trip. We used it to charge a 100A hour deep cycle battery while our fridge was plugged into it.
