Some fuse lists show 30mm as 1 1/4 inches. 1 1/4 inches is 31.75mm. This fuse is also listed as 30mm but is actually 1 1/8" which is 28.575mm. Obviously these are nominal sizes but be sure to fit snugly to ensure full contact. My GE microwave uses a 1 1/4 inch fuse. This protector fits, but I would prefer an exact 1 1/4" fit. My GE JVM3160RF2SS model microwave has a known defect which causes the switch to trip. Now the fuse has blown and I have replaced it with a new fuse, which also blew but I don't know if it's because the fuse is shorter than the original one or if it's a problem with the microwave, most likely a problem with the MV.
