This is a good lighting kit but the IR from the remote control is very weak and very directional. I use it as a "busy indicator" for my home office, it turns red when I'm on a work call to let my family know. It does the job, but the little remotes that come with the flashlights are very flimsy and you have to get really close and point the remote directly at the IR receiver window on the flashlight. My office is only 10ft long so it doesn't work over 21ft as advertised (at least mine doesn't). I need to be within 6 feet for this to work. I solved this problem with Logitech Harmony's remote learning feature and it works much better. Overall it's good value for money and does what I wanted it to do.
