I like that it sucks up a lot of water fairly quickly and that it's very quiet. I live in Hawaii where many of us in remote areas depend on rainwater filtered through an entire home filtration system to sustain our water intake. I installed this pump on top of a 10,000 gallon holding tank where I collect rainwater from the roof through the gutters and then into the tank. When my tank overflows during the rainy season, water collects in my gutters and overflows onto my surrounding porch (open porch). The pump expels excess water from the tank, preventing it from clogging in the gutters. How do you like such an exotic use!
