I bought this device in June 2020 and used it to switch keyboard and mouse between two desktops running Win10 x64 (my input monitor has between two switched inputs for two PCs) instead of KVM to save money on an expensive DisplayPort or HDMI KVM. Well, I've had USB issues that I've only noticed on my main PC. In August I upgraded this system (the other PC stayed the same) and kept using this Cateck switch. I was still having USB related issues sometimes resulting in system freezes and a black screen, and while playing the same thing that happened on my previous build. Forward to 2021 after removing the Cateck USB 3.0 switch and my newly rebuilt system. no more usb related crashes, it is more responsive to input and i am writing this review to help with product development and/or to warn consumers to remember any usb related issues or crashes caused by this device can be caused. 1 star for technical performance for 6 months and 1 star for quality cable.
