This is exactly what I was hoping for my 49 inch curved monitor (Monoprice model). I was concerned about the weight as it's on the limit but it works great and I didn't even have to turn the adjuster all the way to balance the weight. The only criticism I would like to make is that the rotational hardness cannot be adjusted. The monitor is difficult to align perfectly as it is a little tight but then rotates a little when you apply torque to it and there is no set screw to lock the position (so it can rotate accidentally when you move the monitor up/down ) or it was easier/harder to rotate. However, I was concerned that I would have to pay twice as much for such a large monitor, so I am completely satisfied with the product.
