To be honest I only bought it to get weather reports when camping offline and to use it as a camping light. I was surprised how many channels I could get. The battery currently lasts 3 days with moderate use. I didn't drain the battery to see how long it takes to charge from the solar panel. The video was shot at home to show channel selection and sound quality. The SOS function is loud and clear with a red flashing light - can be important under certain circumstances. Next I check the solar charger and battery life of the headlights.
