The instructions are VERY bad. I've never programmed it, nor are there any good guides online to connect it to your car. Save time and mind, spend $200 at the dealer. That's how frustrating this test is. The website's poor instructions made no sense. They tell you to turn the car off and on more than 12 times, you hear a beep etc. No, the only thing you will do is burn 10 gallons of gas!
