Ordered based on the picture and got the version which I deliberately wanted to avoid. It took 5-6 tries before it worked. Must be almost on the roof of the car before it will work.

So I got this for my Ford Escape 05. Programming was easy. But he only works when he wants to. I have to press the lock or unlock button multiple times to make it work even with a new battery.

Programmed this into my car and it worked for three days, the reduced size left the rear window unlocked when I decided to unlock the doors. Then the machine just died. It's like the battery is dead. I will not program anyone on my machine.

The first picture, identical to the picture in the ad, is my request. The second photo is what I received. I spent a lot of time looking for a picture that matches our original, it was a bit more expensive than others that look the same as what I received. Not a happy camper!

The instructions are VERY bad. I've never programmed it, nor are there any good guides online to connect it to your car. Save time and mind, spend $200 at the dealer. That's how frustrating this test is. The website's poor instructions made no sense. They tell you to turn the car off and on more than 12 times, you hear a beep etc. No, the only thing you will do is burn 10 gallons of gas!

I had to replace one of two keyless remotes. The cost of this brand was a little higher than others, but it was worth it. Programming keyless mode for my car (Mustang) was very easy. I followed the online instructions provided. Programming my remotes took less than two minutes. Programming your new keyless remote will reset existing keyless remotes. It is very important to know that if you want to use more than one, you must program all the keyless remotes at the same time.
