They fit and work great with my Dremel 395 although the shape of the collets is different from the original. They are decently made, if not perfect. Aside from a few minor imperfections, there were only two in my kit that needed some deburring on the slots and on the bottom of the stock. When it comes to collet design and processing there is more than meets the eye and while I don't know much this has inspired me to look for more design information. All the bases on mine are 4.1mm and fit a little loosely into the motor shaft (the original Dremels are 4.3-4.4mm and a little tight), but they work fine. The overall length is a hair over 16mm shorter than the original is 19mm, but that's not essential when you're working. The chamfer on the underside is cut at the same angle as the original, but at a much shallower depth. This makes them appear to move "up" on the motor shaft, but again they work fine here. Interestingly, the main arm/grip area of these brass collets is longer than the originals, giving good/better gripping power for bit shanks. Maybe that's necessary because they're made of brass and not aluminum, but in any case they hold up very well. In terms of accuracy and centering they are no better or worse than original Dremel collets, which I find often need a second or third adjustment to get true rotation, but it depends on the bit (that's even true for bits that I know very well in their straightness and concentricity). I actually accidentally bought this set instead of another one I was looking at here. I needed a 3.0mm collet for some of the routers I bought that were advertised as 1/8" but were actually smaller. I was lucky that the 3/32" collets came in this one Set seems a bit large and fits well on a 3mm shank so it works great I think if you have custom bits or a set of drill bits it's probably better to buy an adjustable multi-chuck instead, although the Quirks are still present (but get a Dremel brand model made in Germany. Copies of all of these appear to be poorly made.) It will be interesting to see how these brass collets last longer compared to the aluminum collets If any of these Chinese manufacturers, or anyone else, made a legitimate brass collet with Dremel proportions and higher accuracy, they would have a gold mine of willing consumers as someone said in another review, if you're looking for precision a dremel isn't the way to go anyway.
