COMPLETELY UNUSEABLE in the middle of the night with bare feet than a "stapler" hammer. I know it's just a hammer and I probably overdid it with my reasons for returning it. This is especially frustrating as it is specific to an urgent project and not useful at all. Staple hammers should hold small nails in place when hammering, and pick up random nails and sewing needles quickly to avoid injury. sewing needle. The hammer rests on the ridges but barely holds the big nail in place. In fact, I have enough coordination to do it with my fingers without hitting them. The groove is too long for a small nail. It's solid and seems well made, but the hammers I already have are the same. Its only benefit is that the handle, at around 8 inches, is short enough to fit in a few small gaps, despite the head being the size of a standard hammer, so again its benefits are minimal. I just can't justify keeping it, at the price of almost $10 compared to the headache of coming back and hoping a new one will arrive in time to complete the project. I know we shouldn't be commenting on the seller here but they did a great job and shipped it quickly and included a respectful note asking for feedback. They even included an S-shaped clip. Sure, an inexpensive "gift" in exchange for a review, but MUCH better than the awkward pressure some sellers resort to. Hope everything goes well for them too.
