Ease of installation. Terribly difficult to assemble.

This lamp looks even better than I expected from the photos. It's fairly lightweight, so installing it is almost trivial. Unfortunately, before it can be installed, it must be built. I laughed a little when I saw that there was a small screwdriver in the parts bag. I laughed even harder when I realized it was a straight blade screwdriver and all the screws were Phillips. I was wondering if they've ever tried to assemble one. Crossbars are hollow tubes with a large hole on one side and a small hole on the opposite side. To assemble, insert the screw into the large hole and then into the small hole. There is no room for needle nose pliers or even tweezers. Of course, the first screw got into the tube and wouldn't come out. After trying to figure it out for about 15 minutes, I gave up. I think that's why they provided so many extra screws. I finally found a working method. If you buy one of these, stuff a few pieces of kitchen paper into the tube. It still takes a few tries to get each screw into place, but if you miss, at least the screw doesn't fall down the pipe and get lost. You can get it and try again and again.
