• YES, IT'S WATERPROOF: I took it to Iceland and wore it in torrential rain and never felt wet inside. For reasons which I will not explain, I swam in it also through a deep current; My shirt underneath got wet, but surprisingly the fleece inside was almost completely dry (except for the cuffs). • Great slim fit. I'm about 5 feet 11 inches and 170 pounds. • If I could fault this jacket it would be the military style lower pockets which are difficult to get into but this jacket is $79 and does the job. $300 Northface for screaming loudly! Five stars from me!
