I am really impressed with this disc lock alarm. I was looking for something similar to add extra security to my e-bike. As you know, e-bikes are expensive and easy targets for theft if not properly secured. This brake disc alarm works very well and easily attaches to the front or rear brake disc of your bike. Due to the hub motor and panniers on my bike, I usually use the front disc. A bright orange seat belt alerts would-be thieves that this bike is secure. Because it's attached to the disc brake, bike-riding isn't an option given the weight of e-bikes, which in itself is off-putting. Carrying around a 65-pound bike is no easy task for anyone. The alarm sensitivity is good, hitting the bike hard or trying to fiddle with the U-lock or 40mm cable locks I use to secure the bike will generate a 3 beep alert. If I keep fiddling with the bike, a shrill 110dB alarm goes off. Using this signal in combination with good, strong padlocks and/or thick cable locks will deter all but the most determined thief from turning to an easier target.
