This scale is a perfect fit especially for what I needed. I'm thinking serious heavyweights in the future, but for my purposes it was a decent product for the money. The scale needs to be "zeroed" from time to time, as well as when it is moved. Be careful as this means you will lose up to 0.5 pounds. Also, it is read in tenths of pounds, not ounces. It's not the end of the world to make the conversion, just a nuisance, especially when the two cents' worth of electronics are done for you - almost all other scales will do it. I knew I was going so not disappointed but only 4 stars and not 5 for those reasons. I would buy it again so not too bad.
