I'm giving this a 2 because the supply of "gel pack or something" broke and hit the starter. This was only discovered after I installed a starter that would not allow the starter to engage. Instead of taking it off and returning it like everyone would happily do because they are waiting for it to be fixed, I took it apart to get the parts out and then put it back together. I didn't realize the top had a right and wrong way to go back and indeed Murphy's law kicked in and I misadjusted it so I slashed the gear shaft and now it doesn't work at all. My mistake so I have a useless starter and kick myself.
