SHORT SUMMARY: I like this product enough to put this combo on all six bikes in our family. They attach easily to the steering wheel (if you understand the mechanics), detach easily, and do a good job of helping others see you. However, don't expect to use this headlight to illuminate a dark street at night. There are six reasons I love this set: 1) LED lights are much more energy efficient than the old fashioned incandescent bulbs I used before. grow up. Saves money when changing batteries. 2) The headlight beam is very bright when properly focused and can be clearly seen by an oncoming car from a long distance. Likewise, if properly focused, a red taillight can also be easily seen by an oncoming vehicle. 3) The physical dimensions of the headlight and taillight are very compact, so they look good on motorcycles. 4) They're weatherproof enough that both devices should still work if you get caught in the rain. 5) They are easy to mount on the handlebar and seatpost. I used one of the rubber inserts to ensure a tight fit on the handlebars. No screwdriver required to assemble the headlight; The rear light needs a screwdriver. 6) The headlight can be easily removed from the bike. I liked this feature when driving at night and I wanted to stop and look at the armadillo along the road. It also serves as a practical flashlight. The taillight also detaches easily from the bracket, but you'll probably only do this to change the batteries. I have four caveats to share with you: 1) The headlight is not good enough to illuminate a dark street. good enough to drive safely at night. You can do this, but the road will be dimly lit. There is only one white LED in the headlight. This is normal when driving on a well-lit road at night and you only need a headlight so others can see you. If you need a headlight to really light up the road, look elsewhere. 2) Both the headlight and taillight must be properly focused so that the oncoming vehicle can actually see you. They should be aimed almost straight ahead so that the beam is clearly visible to an oncoming or approaching vehicle. In the wrong direction, the bright light from the LEDs will not help you become visible to others. 3) Even when light sources are properly focused, bright light can only be seen from a relatively narrow field of view. I would have preferred the taillight to slightly offset the leftmost and rightmost LEDs to allow the taillight to be seen in a wider field of view. Since the field of view is very narrow, take the time to check that you have installed your headlights correctly by standing 50 or 100 meters from the bike and seeing how well the headlights are visible. (Useful when working with another person to adjust the light when one person makes adjustments and the other stands far away to evaluate the results.) the second time to get a constant light while the taillight is accurate the opposite is - press once for solid light, press twice for blinking. In short, recommended!
