Good, not so good for grinders and polishers

I don't have many comparisons for this polisher, but I think it's quite difficult to use. No problem horizontally, but something on doors, fenders and panels. Otherwise it works fine, but the backplate on mine seems to be coming off a bit. It is also easy to stop its rotation, the orbit will continue, but the rotation will stop if not kept perfectly level. It could just be inexperience on my part, but I suspect today's angle machines have something to do with it. All of this has to be balanced by the fact that this is nothing more than an entry-level polisher meant for casual everyday use, a professional handyman wouldn't use it. But if, like me, you're a weekend car enthusiast who likes to keep your cars up to date, this long-stroke polisher called "Bigfoot" can be an inexpensive addition to your toy box.
