OEM new metal replacement sensor

2006 Spec-v - Package received last Easter Sunday, installed same day. I knew what I was getting into, but my check engine light was on and the old plastic crank position sensor was causing my car to misfire and have trouble starting. Instead of waiting for my car to start, I bought it after seeing code P0335 on my OBDII bluetooth reader. Installation was the most pain I've ever experienced and you literally have to do it by touch and feel as you can't see it until you manage to unscrew the sensor to remove the connector. A flathead screwdriver helps open them. out of the plug after you press the clamp. I had to remove part of my air intake to get to the sensor, and every time I thought I'd grabbed it with my 10mm socket, my long socket wrench would snag on something, leading to further frustration with multiple attempts led. I ended up doing it, but it was a huge headache. There is a huge performance gain, however, and it's true that a bad crankshaft position sensor will rob you of horsepower. However, it is not true that you need to change the camshaft and crankshaft sensors at the same time. Your mechanic will tell you this to take more of your money!
