I had to assemble about a dozen pieces of furniture when I moved and was pleasantly surprised at how little it took to get everything up and running. It's sturdy and all you have to do is stand up before you can get started. I'd say it's a little taller than most people's nightstands, which is what I bought it for, but it's the perfect height, leaving enough room for decorating as well as storing essentials for the night without lacking in space. The finish is also very nice.
