Bought these for my 2001 Dakota 4.7L as they are recommended by Dodge. Why use spark plugs other than those specified by the manufacturer for this engine? Done, use the recommended forks! I took this truck used, the previous owner changed the oil but didn't change the spark plugs. Along with the candles, it also replaces the KS, and it purrs like a kitten idling with very good acceleration on the highway. Check the gaps, one of the plugs has not closed properly and use a torque wrench to make sure it is properly seated. Yeah yeah some will say I've been doing this for years, never had a problem, good for you, me too but now I use a torque wrench.
