The Vjoycar R1 is compact, precise and easy to use. It even picks up GPS satellites in the garage where I've had trouble with other devices. The data acquisition time was about 45 seconds for the first (cold) start and about 30 seconds for an hour of operation. Auto brightness adjustment works great with excellent visibility from dark to bright sunlight. Elapsed driving time is a great feature on long journeys. The inclusion of a scratch-free trimming tool is a huge plus! The only drawback is that the altitude is only displayed in meters.
