Amazing aftermarket HUD

For those who need a mile per hour and trip odometer this little device is just perfect! I love it - great purchase. It has other features but personally I wouldn't use it. In the next car (if and when the time comes) a dealer module will definitely be installed so that the navigation and other vehicle details can be displayed directly on the windscreen from the car computer. But until that happens, this little device will keep me smiling mile after mile!

Fantastic device! for car electronics

This is one of my favorite purchases lately. It does everything it promises, excellent and bright direct light, you can see it without any problems. The only complaint, and why it doesn't get five stars, is that the power connector is a bit wonky and sometimes you have to fiddle with it just to keep it from turning off the device. It might just be a quality issue but I was able to get it working. Otherwise totally worth the money

Accurate mph reading, nothing else.

Pros: The HUD was easy to position and set up on the dash. Bumper legs and glue are included to adjust height and secure. It provides an accurate mph reading for short trips. Disadvantages: Installation instructions are functionally missing. It provides times in Greenwich Mean Time and gives no instructions on how to change them, so the time is not accurate at 12 hours out of 24. If you just want to read miles per hour the device will do that but nothing else because no significant value…

Outstanding properties! on car video

The Vjoycar R1 is compact, precise and easy to use. It even picks up GPS satellites in the garage where I've had trouble with other devices. The data acquisition time was about 45 seconds for the first (cold) start and about 30 seconds for an hour of operation. Auto brightness adjustment works great with excellent visibility from dark to bright sunlight. Elapsed driving time is a great feature on long journeys. Glitchy but beautiful when it works

This is a great concept and really good when it works. Pros: Because it's like a real HUD with its own reflective surface, the display is bright and clear in all lighting conditions. The GPS speed matched my other GPS device. The buttons are easily accessible and the menus are pretty basic. Cons: It is often very buggy (see video). You know, with these products from little-known Chinese companies, it can sometimes be awkward to order. But this is a real winner. Very easy to set up - it's ready to go straight out of the box and the included high quality 3M branded stickers are great for applying. They stay in place but can be removed if necessary.
