The joint is too weak.

He couldn't keep my door open. The connection was too loose and started to fail when using the hinge. I tried using it as an angled bottom stop but the connection was too loose for that. It just flipped 90 degrees and was unusable. I'm the proud owner of a few rubber things.

Please measure the hinges and door before ordering to ensure the doorstop will fit. ✅ NO PROBLEM: Simply insert the Residential Doorprop at any door height to keep it open. As well as working along a door hinge, apartment doorstops can be used as a wedge under a door.
