Review on Kawasaki Ninja 400 Z400 Slip-On Exhaust System Including Muffler For Improved Performance - Compatible With Models From 2018, 2019, And 2020 by Justin Cranford

I bought this for my 2018 Kawasaki ninja 400 to replace the stock original muffler. it’s called a ‘slip on’ for a reason, but it DID NOTTT SLIP ON! The mid-pipe that comes with this did NOT fit and had to be modified/stretched. What should have taken me 30 mins ended up taking me half of the day, plus I had to pay more out of pocket to have the mid-pipe modified and then installed on my bike. Sounds and looks good and also a decent price. I would like to add, since I’ve been riding with this muffler installed, there’s a burning plastic smell that comes from the muffler. Lesson learned, you get what you pay for and this wasn’t worth the extra hassle or uncertainty of the quality of this product. Should have paid more money for a better muffler that would have installed properly from the start.
