The jar is perfect for my growing flower bulbs. The lamp is made in the style of a spotlight, so it is a bit big. It works exactly how I want it to and harmonises with the white trim and ceiling. It's a lightweight metal that appears to be very durable. The glass rotates in every direction and also rotates so it points in most directions. I have it hanging on the wall near the vaulted ceiling, so the cord is too short. I plugged in an extension cord and until I plug it in the cord is dangling. On the other hand, there is no suspension mechanism. It has a keyhole, so to hold the jar at an angle over your head like mine, it rotates until the cord catches the mount and it stops. The presence of a second keyhole would balance the pivot and twist lever. I definitely recommend this product and will order again.
