Review on πŸ”€ HDMI Pigtail Switch: Streamline Your Connections with 60Hz Auto Switching by Tutcht Cobb

Well, if you don't want automatic switching

I specifically chose this device for automatic switching. I've managed to connect my bedroom TV using just an HDMI, a current-gen Chromecast, and the latest Roku+ Streaming Stick. Both devices send a signal to automatically switch to this input during use, but after checking with the manufacturer they confirmed that this device will not use this signal, so the description is inaccurate. Auto switching is applied only when the device is turned on for the first time. Both Roku and Chromecast are always-on devices. So if you want to switch between them, you'll have to get up and press the physical button on the Switch. If you're just using it for things like a Blu-Ray player that isn't always on then you might be in luck, but for most devices you should head to the TV to switch every time. which I think is a bit better than unplugging the cable and plugging in another.
