All of a sudden we ordered THREE diaper baskets. The first was almost 9 years ago - a fairly simple model - that worked well. We then ordered a second one for our third child over a year ago. It arrived already broken - the lever to open/close the door had a piece that had already chipped off. We tried to make it work, but if diaper gin's whole premise is to seal out odors, then a ajar door defeats the purpose. So we ordered a second two months ago and had to push the door multiple times to close it. The new front opening door features seem to add too much of a mechanical flaw. The lever on the door broke again. So we managed to spend way too much money on the "windelgeist" hype for two buckets that don't work.
