This is the same item you would find at your local hardware store but at wholesale prices. This is one of maybe 5 types of concrete anchors and if you have the right drill bit to drill the hole and drill it properly they work fine. Other products rely on a lead insert or curved rod to "grab" the hole while these products cut into the concrete hole and anchor it securely therein. All of the concrete anchors I've used will work if you develop the right technique. They're no different, except maybe a little simpler and a little cheaper per unit.
