quality closure. Don't twist.

I used several of these to mount the heat pump circuit breakers to a standard concrete block. They work just as well as a well-known brand. I learned the hard way, DO NOT over tighten this type of hardened screw, it will snap leaving a plug in the hole that cannot be removed.

Bits and screws work well

I used a hammer drill and the bit that came with it to drill through a concrete foundation wall. I drilled a hole slightly longer than the screw and vacuumed it before attaching the screw. Then I used a regular drill bit and adjusted the coupler so I could just drive the screw into the hole. This worked great and seems to have a strong hold. Highly recommended.

Concrete Anchors: Fasteners

This is one of maybe 5 types of concrete anchors and if you have the right drill bit to drill the hole and drill it properly they work fine. Other products rely on a lead insert or curved rod to "grab" the hole while these products cut into the concrete hole and anchor it securely therein. All of the concrete anchors I've used will work if you develop the right technique. They're no different, except…
